The Halls have beautifully renovated Bix Manor and created a unique venue for Wedding Receptions and private functions. The Great Tithe Barn can seat up to 130 guests and attached is the Library which is used for reception drinks and a quieter space after the meal.
The facility fee for 2011 is £3,100 and includes the use of the Great Tithe, the Library, Fountain Courtyard and Gardens and the use of the Manor House as your home in the run up to the celebrations. There are 6 double bedrooms and 5 bathrooms accommodating 12 guests, as well as an elegant drawing room, a magnificent dining room and a huge farmhouse kitchen and the price is for 2 nights for up to 12 guests including a fully stocked larder and full English breakfast. Additional nights are £950 per night.
The 2011 hospitality price is £95.00 per person which includes a three course meal, a selection of canapés, the unlimited supply of still & sparkling mineral water, orange, apple & cranberry juices, lemonade, coke, mixers, tea, coffee, ice, and the use of our furniture, linen, cutlery, crockery, glasses & VAT. The price for children under 10 is £45.00 and there is no charge for babies or children in high chairs. On Saturdays we ask for a minimum number of 95 adult guests.
As we are not licensed, we are happy for the host to provide his own alcoholic drinks and there is no corkage charge. Music for dancing is fine up to 11.00 pm on Saturdays.
A contribution towards the cost of staff is requested at 15% of the above prices.
Bix Manor takes only one function on any one day, and a deposit of £1,500 is requested to confirm your reservation. The deposit is refundable so long as we can re-let the date.

We are licenced for civil ceremonies in the Great Tithe for up to 120 people, in the Library for up to 50 and under the Fountain Courtyard Porch for 6 (with guests outside in the Fountain Courtyard. Additional charges for civil ceremonies apply.
